Currently, metropolitan areas are under the 0% regime because there is no need to stimulate housing in those areas. Many regional areas currently receive the 50% concession in recognition of the greater challenges these areas face in attracting and retaining permanent residents. The 100% concession is our proposal to government to further assist these communities in establishing permanent residents in suitable and affordable housing.
